"Mondays in the blue 2026" of Museo Bardini

Starting on Monday, 7 September, the Stefano Bardini Museum is once again hosting its “Mondays in Blue” series, inviting visitors to discover its collections, learn more about Stefano Bardini, and explore the stories and events that helped make the museum one of the most original and fascinating places in Florence.

For four consecutive Mondays, through Monday, 28 September, the museum will offer a programme of talks and activities dedicated to the history of collecting, the art market, and the personality of the celebrated antiquarian, whose work and legacy left a profound mark on the city’s cultural life.

On the occasion of the four events, the Stefano Bardini Museum will extend its opening hours until 8 pm (last admission at 7 pm), giving visitors the opportunity to explore the museum at a more leisurely pace and immerse themselves in the atmosphere of its galleries, characterised by the unmistakable Bardini blue and the extraordinary variety of paintings, sculptures, furnishings and works of art collected by the antiquarian.
