“Un Parco di Musica ed altre storie” is fast approaching. Organised by the Metropolitan City of Florence and the Municipality of Vaglia, and coordinated by Music Pool, the festival returns for its fourth year with a major musical programme running from 2 June to 27 September 2026, featuring over 30 events – predominantly musical, but also including theatre, dance, performances and readings. Each event takes place within the charming Medici Park of Pratolino, a setting where nature meets culture, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and guardian of centuries-old history.
The result is a top-class programme featuring many leading figures that will enliven this summer’s weekends: music in all its forms, ranging from jazz to classical music and orchestras, folk and independent music, dance, staged readings, and talks on literary and environmental themes. Performances are scheduled for 6.30 pm (from 6 pm from late August), with the option of guided tours to discover the park’s beauty. For those who wish, the Locanda is open for an aperitif or dinner.
