University of Sioux Falls Concert Chorale - free concert
Classical music, opera and ballet
The choir of the University of Sioux Falls, from South Dakota (USA), arrives in Italy to share with the Florentine public a musical moment dedicated to choral singing and its ability to create captivating atmospheres.
The event will take place on Thursday, 8 January 2026, at 9:00 p.m., in the splendid Church of Santa Trinita in Florence, a place that, with its acoustics and historical charm, naturally enhances vocal music.
Conducted by Dr David DeHoog-Kliewer, the choir will perform a repertoire that spans different styles and sounds, offering a simple, direct and nuanced listening experience.
The evening will be enriched by the presence of the Menura Vocal Ensemble, conducted by Edoardo Materassi: a collaboration that brings together two extraordinary choral groups, making for a truly special evening.
Admission is free. To reserve (not mandatory but recommended), please send a request via email to performancesbooking@gmail.com. It is advised to arrive at least 15 minutes before the concert starts.
