The Museum of Religious Art in the Collegiate of Santa Maria Assunta

The Church of Santa Maria in Figline dates back to the 13th century, though it was extensively remodelled in the centuries that followed. It houses many works of art, including a 14th-century panel painting of the Madonna and Child by a Giottesque painter known as the Master of Figline, and a statue of Saint Joseph by Andrea della Robbia. The religious art collection can be reached through the sacristy, and comprises various items that formed part of the church’s liturgical accoutrements.
