The "Vincian summer"—a season dedicated to *Ingegno* (Ingenuity), in keeping with the main theme for 2026—is about to get into full swing. The schedule features dozens of events running from June to September 2026 across the entire municipality. Most of these are returning initiatives launched in previous years, demonstrating that each has successfully taken root—both in terms of organization and public engagement.

Kicking off on June 11 is the return of "Vinci a teatro," a theater festival organized by the Compagnia Unicorno that showcases the results of their drama courses on the stage of the Teatro di Vinci; the Company’s students will take center stage over two long weekends (June 11–14 and 18–21).
June also marks the return of the Sagra della Chiocciola (Snail Festival). This year, the Spicchio-based event celebrates its 48th edition, running from Thursday, June 18, through July 6—though volunteers are already hard at work at the traditional venue, Parco dei Mille. This year, the festival program is enhanced by an inaugural associated running race, scheduled for the evening of Tuesday, June 23.

  • July and the 20th Anniversary of the Unicorn Festival:
Fantasy lovers and cosplay enthusiasts have plenty to celebrate: the Unicorn Festival marks its twentieth anniversary, and the village will once again become a hub for themed costumes and fancy dress from July 10 to 12.
The week prior features the Pro Loco’s "Rime in circolo" event (July 4), while "S. Amato a Tavola" returns on July 10, running every weekend until August 9.
Giallo Mare Minimal Teatro is bringing back its "Multiscena" event (July 18 and 19), and the Vinci Fair returns at the end of the month (July 25–29), reprising the formula that revitalized it: a medieval-style experience in the upper village (Vinci Alto) paired with more modern attractions in the Piazza della Libertà area (Vinci Basso). A highlight not to be missed is the "Tenzon di Palla," a contest pitting the two sides of Vinci—the Yellows against the Reds—against each other.

  • Cinema, food, wine, and music in August:
Local hamlets take center stage too. Vitolini and Petroio become venues for "Summer Cinema" (August 4–8 in the hills; August 17–19 in the valley).
Local wine tastings return with *Calici sotto le Stelle* (August 10), *AperidaVinci*, and *Calici di Cinema*—all part of the "Notti del Vino" (Wine Nights) series.
As always, August concludes with *VinciSound*, held from August 21 to 23 in Piazza Masi.

  • September and other summer events:
The summer season in Vinci wraps up in September with two weekends dedicated to the *Schiacciata con l'uva* (grape flatbread) festival in Vitolini (the 12th, 13th, 19th, and 20th), alongside the *Festa dello Sport* (Sports Festival) and *Viale in Festa* in Sovigliana and Spicchio.
