Archivio Storico del Comune di Firenze

The Historical Archives (Archivio Storico) preserve the documents produced and received by the city administration established by Pietro Leopoldo's edict of 20 November 1781.

Together with the archives of hospitals, schools, charities and theatres, it constitutes a priceless heritage, the historical memory of the city of Florence and its citizens, from the 18th to the 20th century.
