La Cité

Opened in 2007 in Borgo San Frediano, La Cité is small but multipurpose space that exists as a place for socialising and contamination of knowledge. The antithesis of the bookshop-supermarket where you enter, select and leave, the Libreria Café is a place for researching and meeting other people, as well as for reading and a siesta. A bookshop, therefore, but also a place for socialization, for the re-appropriation of time, for planning and cultural expression for associative, self-managed, independent, and free-thinking activities.
