Lituana has been expressing this art in her work and restoration projects for over 20 years. Commesso Fiorentino is a Renaissance technique pioneered by the Medici family in the 16th century, which involves assembling pieces of shaped stone following the lines of a design, much like a jigsaw puzzle. It can be seen inside the Medici Chapels and in Palazzo Pitti.
