Libreria Alfani

The Libreria Alfani is located in the street of the same name, between Piazza San Marco and Piazza Duomo, near the Galleria dell’Accademia and the Luigi Cherubini Conservatory of Music. Founded by Umberto Panerai, it is now run by his daughter Serena. With the traditional shelves occupied by specialist books and the central counters with new non-fiction, fiction, history, philosophy, music, psychology, and law books, it has been welcoming customers with courtesy and professionalism for 50 years. In the movie “Matrimoni e altri disastri” is the bookshop where Margherita Buy and Luciana Littizzetto work.
