Established on the site of the local health authority’s former addiction services center (SERT)—on land owned by the Municipality of Florence—Lumen has gradually evolved since 2021 into a cultural and social hub serving the city.
Lumen hosts concerts, talks, family activities, workshops, sports, summer camps, and social gatherings. Where there was once an abandoned area, today there is a vibrant space actively used and enjoyed by the city.
