Sala Vanni

Located inside the Monumental Complex of Santa Maria del Carmine, in the homonymous square, the Sala Vanni hosts the auditorium of Musicus Concentus Association. This large room was originally the second refectory of the convent, now it is a big auditorium for concerts with 192 seats.

This environment is named after the painter Giovanni Battista Vanni, who, in the first half of the 17th century, painted the fresco "The Last Supper at the Pharisee’s House2; several detached frescoes from the Nerli Chapel are also on display. In certain periods of the year it is also open to visitors, with the same ticket of the Brancacci Chapel.
