San Michele a Volognano church

The church of San Michele a Volognano preserves a very lovely Madonna and Child that is attributed to Lorenzo di Bicci, of the end of the 14th century and formerly part of a triptych that was dismantled in the 15th century. In the same church there is an altar-piece by Mariotto Albertinelli that depicts the Madonna and Child with Saints. There is also a fresco of the Madonna della Cintola probably attributed to Andrea del Sarto’s workshop.
