Where to file a police report

During your stay in Florence, if you happen to need to file a report for being pickpocketed, for theft or for any other illegal occurrence, your go-to place is the Carabinieri station.

In the historical center, near the main sightseeings, there are three of them: the closest to the train station (open from 8am to 10pm) is in piazza Stazione 7, only a few steps away from the information office, in the building that has been the seat of the Scuola Marescialli e Brigadieri dell’Arma for nearly a century (1920-2016). The other stations are in via Castellani (near the exit of Galleria degli Uffizi) and in piazza Pitti.
