VEDA opened its doors in Florence in 2016. The project was established with the intent of challenging invited artists to present their works within the architecture of the gallery’s space, spurring them to overcome the intrinsic conditions of the latter. VEDA aims to develop connections, collaborative projects and new ideas with artists and curators. It was this desire to pursue a more profound dialogue with artistic practices that induced VEDA to become an art gallery in 2017.
