The city of Florence has a special tourist card, theFirenze Card. It costs € 85, is valid for 72 hours and it provides you admission to 58 museums, villas and historical gardens located in Florence and surroundings- all the most important are included.

Where can I buy it?

It is possible to buy it online, by downloading the Firenze Card App on Google Play or Itunes Stores, and enter the voucher number received after purchasing… then start your visit as soon as you like! 
You can also purchase  or collect it from our tourist information offices and a large number of museums and monuments, either by credit card or by cash, just check where to go from the list of sales/collection points.

What it offers and how it works

There are many benefits with Firenze Card:
Cardholders may include one or more minors under the age of 18 (who belong to the same household) in their benefits. 
The card is activated upon first use and lasts 72 hours.
Cards must be personalised with the cardholder's first and last name and are non-transferable.

The Firenze Card allows you priority access to almost all museums and monumental sites in Florence and the surrounding area — all without the need for a reservation, with the exception of 5 museums that require a mandatory free reservation:

Uffizi Gallery: Reservations can be made via the official Coopculture website or by calling the toll-free number 800615615 (within Italy) or +39 0550354135 (from abroad or mobile phones).

Galleria dell’Accademia: Reservations must be made by phone by calling the Opera Laboratori call center (+39 055 294883), or in person at the ticket offices of Orsanmichele (Via de' Calzaiuoli) or My Accademia (Via Ricasoli 105/r).

Palazzo Vecchio: Reservations can be made via the app, the Firenze Card website, or the online ticketing system of the Musei Civici Fiorentini.

Brancacci Chapel: Reservations can only be made through the online ticketing system of the Musei Civici Fiorentini.

Palazzo Medici Riccardi: from 7 April 2026, bookings are optional for individual visitors and groups of less than 8 people.
However, bookings are compulsory for groups of more than 8 people – bookings are free and can be made on the Firenze Card website or via the Firenze Card app.

Things you should know

Since March 2026, it is possible to purchase the Firenze Card Restart, which extends the expiry date of the Firenze Card by 48 hours. Available at a price of € 28, it can only be activated on a smartphone or tablet.

Warning: There are some scam websites online that present themselves as official. In reality, the only official website for the Firenze Card is Firenzecard.it .
