National Day of Historic Houses

Spring, and the month of May in particular, mark the opening of historic residences as part of the National Day of Historic Italian Residences. The programme centres on 24 May, with 450 venues across Italy open to the public free of charge.
A unique opportunity to explore palaces, the residences of noble families, historic gardens, parks and villas, including those associated with the Medici family.

The event is organised by ADSI in collaboration with the Associazione Case della memoria.
There are, of course, many fascinating places in and around Florence, some of which are completely unknown: for the full list, please visit the ADSI website – in some cases, booking is required.
