Marking the 700th anniversary of Castruccio Castracani’s arrival at the village gates, the “Calenzano 1325” historical reenactment returns to the Castle on Sunday, October 18, 2026. Throughout the day—from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM—visitors can step back in time and immerse themselves in the atmosphere of a 14th-century village. The Castle streets will feature artisans at work, falconry displays, musicians and actors, men-at-arms’ encampments, flag-wavers, children’s games, and food stalls serving traditional menus. Promoted by the Municipality of Calenzano, the event is organized by the Calenzano Tourist Association, with artistic direction by the *Alfieri e Musici della Valmarina* association and in collaboration with the *Agresto* association.
On Sunday, October 18, proceedings begin at 10:00 AM in Piazza Vittorio Veneto with the formation and departure of the historical procession; the arrival at the Castle and a flag and drum performance follow at 11:30 AM. Food stalls within the village open at 12:00 PM, while the refreshment area in the garden remains open all day. A flag performance takes place at 5:00 PM, followed by the event's finale: a fire show presented by the *Alfieri*.
