Light Energy Infinity - Wang Yancheng at Galleria dell'Accademia

From 24 June to 21 September 2025,French-Chinese arti st Wang Yancheng pays homage to Michelangelo on the occasion of the 550th anniversary of the birth of the universal genius.

The exhibition Light Energy Infinity, curated by Gabriele Simongini, is courtesy of the Ministry of Culture and presents around 25 paintings created between 2018 and 2025 - some of which were made for Florence and in which a conception of the void as a material state bubbling with possibilities takes on increasing importance.

Wang Yancheng's absolute painting is the result of a deeply personal language, a kind of hybrid that absorbs and reinvents the fruitful dialogue between East and West.
