On October 3 and 4, 2026, Sake Days returnsto Il Conventino in Florence, the festival dedicated to sake culture and the world of Japanese food and gastronomy. Now in its sixth edition, the event offers two days of tastings, talks, cooking demonstrations and workshops, providing an opportunity to discover sake and explore the traditions, flavours and techniques of Japan.
Throughout the festival, visitors can taste a selection of sake and other Japanese beverages, including shōchū, awamori, gin, whisky and wines, accompanied by a variety of Japanese culinary specialties. The programme also includes events dedicated to sushi, okonomiyaki, tempura, tea, soy sauces and umami, as well as insights into Japanese culture and craftsmanship, including a kintsugi workshop and a session dedicated to traditional Japanese knives.
The two-day event offers an opportunity both for those discovering sake for the first time and for enthusiasts looking to deepen their knowledge, while experiencing Japanese culture through food, conviviality and encounters with producers and experts.
