Toscana Classica concerts series

Classical music, opera and ballet

The Toscana Classica festival, which promotes and supports the professional activity of young musicians, singers, and musical ensembles, will begin on Saturday, March 14th.

The opening concerts will take place at the Church of Santa Felicita in Florence: the Orchestra Toscana Classica, conducted by Giovan Battista Varoli, will perform together with soloists Matteo Michelini and Diego Aleman on bassoons.

A very young violin talent, Leone Pini, will appear as soloist with the Orchestra Toscana Classica on Thursday, April 2nd at the Sala Capitolare San Giorgio alla Costa. On April 22nd, again in the same hall, the organist Antonio Frigé will join the Orchestra Toscana Classica, conducted by Giuseppe Lanzetta.
