National day of the Walk among the Olive Trees

On Sunday, 26 October 2025, the eighth edition of the Walk among the Olive Trees will take place, an initiative promoted by the Città dell'Olio Association. Families and enthusiasts are invited to walk surrounded by the picturesque landscape of olive trees that characterises much of ourpeninsula. The walks end with a visit to an oil mill, an olive farm or a historic building, where participants will be offered a tasting of bread, oil and typical products.

In the metropolitan area of Florence and in the Chianti tourist area, walks are planned in the following municipalities:

Castelnuovo Berardenga
Vinci
Reggello
Calenzano
San Casciano Val di Pesa
Castellina in Chianti
Greve in Chianti
