La Befana at Loggia dei Lanzi

The annual appointment with La Befana at the Uffizi is back again this year. At 3:00 p.m., gliding over the Loggia dei Lanzi, the Befana of the Fire Department will once again fly over Piazza della Signoria in Florence. The event is dedicated to all children, whether Florentine or just passing through, who show up in Piazza della Signoria.

La Befana will demonstrate her considerable acrobatic skills, descending from the terrace above the Loggia and distributing candy and sweets to the young.
