A new exhibition for the Complex of Sant' Orsola

There is good news regarding the Sant'Orsola Complex in Florence's San Lorenzo district: firstly, the museum is rapidly approaching its opening date; secondly, another interesting temporary exhibition is being inaugurated, the third and final one, entitled The rose that grew from concrete.

Fourteen French, Italian and foreign artists have been invited to engage with and draw inspiration from the rough spaces of the former convent, which is undergoing renovation work to bring it back to life.
The result: a rose growing from cracks in the concrete, a powerful image of resilience and rebirth.
The exhibition opens on 5 September and runs until 4 January 2026. For more details on this unmissable opening, please read the dedicated event page.
