Foresta Maestra is back – the generative festival that explores the boundaries between nature, art, culture and community. The fourth edition will take place in Vallombrosa over the weekends of 20 and 21 June 2026 and from 28 to 30 August 2026, with a follow-up event on 6 September 2026.
Organised by the association Vallombrosa – La Foresta di Firenze ETS, under the patronage of Reggello Town Council, the festival celebrates its generative ethos by offering a variety of engaging experiences, including concerts, workshops, themed walks, treks, conferences, e-bike rides, guided tours, markets and talks.
Foresta Maestra is more than just a festival: it is a cultural and environmental project that aims to transform Vallombrosa into a model of sustainability, promoting ecotourism, education, forest culture and the connection between town and woodland. This year’s edition builds on the inspiring practices of previous years, with an even more inclusive and participatory programme.
