Et Lux Perpetua - Preview of the 45th season of the ORT

Classical music, opera and ballet

To mark the 45th anniversary of the Orchestra Regionale della Toscana (ORT), the Opera di Santa Croce and the ORT are organizing a special concert in the basilica, conducted by Maestro Diego Ceretta.

The concert is intended as a gesture of gratitude and sharing with the public and the local community, which have accompanied the ORT on its journey for 45 years.

Admission to the concert is free, but reservations are required via the Santa Croce online ticket officestarting September 1.

Classical music, opera and ballet

The concert will feature two masterpieces from the sacred repertoire: Luigi Cherubini's Marche religieuse and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Requiem in D minor, K. 626, performed by the orchestra, the Harmonia Cantata choir conducted by Raffaele Puccianti, and a vocal cast consisting of Francesca Pia Vitale (soprano), Eleonora Filipponi (mezzo-soprano), Dave Monaco (tenor), and Francesco Leone (bass).
