Orchestra del Mare - Mario Brunello e Sergej Krylov

Mario Brunello (cellist) and violinist Sergej Krylov (violinist) with the “Orchestra del Mare”, which uses instruments made from the wood of migrant boats and crafted by inmates at Opera prison, in a concert of great social value in aid of the Casa dello Spirito e delle Arti Foundation.
The two soloists will play instruments “del Mare”, as will the young musicians of the Italian Youth Orchestra who will accompany them.

A project by Fondazione CR Firenze, which contributed to the realisation of the initiative – with the patronage of the Municipality of Florence and Fondazione Cariplo – which, after La Scala Theatre, will be staged at the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino. The event is scheduled for Sunday, 14 December 2025, in the Sala Zubin Mehta.
