Rothko Chapel by Morton Feldman at Maggio Musicale Fiorentino

On the occasion of the Rothko exhibition in Florence at Palazzo Strozzi from 14 March to 23 August 2026, the Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi, in collaboration with the Fondazione Teatro del Maggio and the Accademia del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, presents Rothko Chapel by Morton Feldman, one of the most intense and conceptually significant works of music from the second half of the 20th century.

The concert will take place on Saturday, 21 March 2026, at the Orchestra Hall of the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino in three performances (4 p.m., 5.30 p.m. and 7 p.m.). Tickets can be purchased online or at the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino box office (Monday-Friday 12:00-6:00 p.m., Saturday 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.).
