On October 22, 2026, the Teatro Verdi in Florence will open its new symphonic season with the Orchestra della Toscana, conducted by its Principal Conductor Diego Ceretta.
The evening will feature violinist Francesca Dego, performing the Italian premiere of Io cammino muovendo le dita for solo violin (2025) by Nicola Campogrande, followed by Johannes Brahms’ renowned Violin Concerto in D major, Op. 77.
The evening will conclude with Pëtr Il’ič Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 6, Op. 74 “Pathétique”, one of the most intense and dramatic works in the symphonic repertoire.
A concert bringing together contemporary music and the great Romantic repertoire, offering the audience an evening filled with emotion and musical depth.
