Ready to taste the new olive oil? In Bagno a Ripoli, just outside Florence, PrimOlio, the extra virgin olive oil exhibition and market, returns for its 27th edition on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 November 2025. Throughout the weekend, dozens of local producers will offer tastings and sales of their freshly pressed “green gold”. The event will be held in the square of the “Silvano Nano Campeggi” gardens in Ponti.
Alongside the olive oil producers, there will also be stalls from the farmers' market offering a wide range of local products, freshly prepared food and drinks to taste, stands run by trade associations and voluntary organisations, and much more besides. Oil sommeliers will be on hand to provide information and advice. There will also be cooking classes with local chefs, featuring recipes that showcase this “green gold”. Via Roma will be lined with stalls selling goods and artistic handicrafts. A packed programme of activities is planned, including workshops for children to discover olive trees and their fruits, music and DJ sets, talks with producers and lots of other new features.
