France Odeon XVIII Edition

The 18th edition of France Odeon, Florence’s French film festival, is about to get underway. The 2026 edition offers a rich programme featuring some of the most significant titles in recent French cinema, including premieres, special events, tributes to leading figures of French cinema, and numerous guests who will present their films to Florentine audiences in exclusive previews.

As tradition dictates, an outstanding jury will award the Manetti-Battiloro Golden Leaf Awards, joined by a youth jury and the audience, who will have the opportunity to cast their vote for one of the festival’s most eagerly anticipated awards.

The festival will take place from 28 October to 1 November 2026. An unmissable event, it once again confirms its role as a leading platform for promoting and showcasing French cinema in Italy, as part of the 50 Days of Cinema in Florence programme.

France Odeon has always been an opportunity for discovery, reflection, and intercultural dialogue, offering audiences moments of encounter and deeper insight through the universal language of cinema.

All screenings are in the original language with Italian subtitles.
