As August draws to a close, the magic of the Antica Fiera returns to Signa. This is a historic edition, as the Fair celebrates its 700th anniversary!!
A packed programme of events runs from 28 August to 21 September 2026: exhibitions held in various venues, concerts and themed dinners, the barrel race, dinners and the evening market.
The most spectacular part of the event is the Medieval Festival at Signa Castle, scheduled for 4 and 5 September. With around a hundred artists and extras taking part, Signa’s Medieval Festival offers hours of entertainment featuring historical re-enactments and combat, street performers, music, dance and captivating theatrical performances. Visitors are captivated by the fire displays and the performances staged in the streets of the village.
The CONVIVIUM Medieval Banquet in the Giardino dell’Edera on Saturday 5 September is a spectacular event. The evening ends with a ‘bang’ at 11.45 pm: the burning of the tower.
