Timeless Portraits is the title of the photography exhibition running until 28 October 2025 at the Museo dei Marmi in Palazzo Medici Riccardi, dedicated to the work of artist Rossano B. Maniscalchi and promoted by the Città Metropolitana di Firenze.
Maniscalchi is an internationally renowned visual artist working in the fields of photography and cinema. Born in Florence, for over thirty years he has been conducting in-depth research into the evocative power of images, consistently and originally exploring different areas: from portraiture to fashion, from advertising art to arthouse cinema.

Exhibitions

The exhibition takes visitors on a journey through distant but surprisingly similar eras, in which the face, whether sculpted or photographed, becomes a mirror of time, a manifesto of ideas, a tool for memory and a vehicle for emotions.
Divided into three thematic sections - Change, Thought and Authority - the exhibition invites visitors to pause, observe and question the faces, rediscovering, in the suspension of the gaze, the deep connection between past and present, between matter and thought.
