Fabbrica Europa 2026 returns to Florence for its 33rd edition, from 11 September to 11 October 2026, reaffirming its role as one of Italy’s leading festivals dedicated to contemporary performing arts. The festival presents a multidisciplinary programme that brings together dance, music, theatre, performance, and multimedia languages across a variety of venues throughout the Metropolitan City of Florence.
Conceived as “a collective act,” the 2026 edition looks to Europe and, above all, the Mediterranean as a place of encounter, dialogue, and exchange between cultures, languages, and generations. Bringing together artists from across the globe, the festival offers an opportunity to reflect on the present and imagine new perspectives for the future.
Around 70 events, featuring more than 130 artists from 21 countries, 40 companies, and numerous Italian and world premieres, will animate some of Florence’s most vibrant cultural and urban spaces, including the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, PARC Performing Arts Research Centre, Teatro Goldoni, Teatro Puccini, Teatro Cantiere Florida, Manifattura Tabacchi, Museo Novecento, Museo Marino Marini, and Tenax.
