Orchestra da Camera Fiorentina - W.A. Mozart, Requiem in D minor for soloists, choir and orchestra, K. 626

The event will take place on Friday 5 December at 9 pm at the Basilica of Santa Croce, where the Orchestra da Camera Fiorentina will pay tribute to Mozart on the anniversary of his death.

The centrepiece of the evening will be Mozart's famous “Requiem Mass”, an unfinished work that explores the relationship between human beings and death and represents a masterful balance between sacred musical tradition, melodramatic theatricality and classical influences.

Giuseppe Lanzetta will conduct, with Raffaele Puccianti  leading the choir. The solo parts will be performed by soprano Patrizia Cigna, mezzo-soprano Diana Kirienko, tenor Anzor Pilia and bass Diego Colli.

Admission is free until all available seats are taken. Reservations are required on the website starting Monday, 24th November at 3 p.m.
