Beato Angelico at the Cinema

On Sunday 21 December at Cinema La Compagnia, Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi is hosting a free  special screening of “Beato Angelico. Pittore di luce” (Beato Angelico. Painter of Light), produced by Sky Arte to celebrate the great exhibition dedicated to him at Palazzo Strozzi and the Museum of San Marco.

The documentary offers an extraordinary opportunity to explore the art and life of Beato Angelico and take a look behind the scenes of the exhibition.  Beato Angelico. Painter of Light is a visual and narrative journey through art, history and spirituality that reveals to the public the absolute greatness of an artist considered one of the fathers of the Renaissance.

The event has limited seating and is free of charge. To participate, you are required to register on the Palazzo Strozzi website.
