A Jazz Supreme: Maccianti - Tavolazzi - Gatti Trio. Musicus Concentus

Francesco Maccianti, Ares Tavolazzi and Roberto Gatto, the historic Italian jazz trio, return to Sala Vanni in Florence to present the premiere of Playing Standards, their new album released at the end of 2025.

Classically trained, Francesco Maccianti has built a distinguished career in concert performance and teaching; he is co-founder of the Centro Attività Musicali. Roberto Gatto, an internationally renowned drummer, combines technical rigour with continuous timbral research, rooted in the Mediterranean tradition. Ares Tavolazzi, double bassist and composer, has collaborated with leading figures in Italian music and was a member of the historic group Area.
