The International Biennial of Antiques in Florence

Exhibitions
Markets, fairs

The International Biennial of Antiques is one of the most interesting and international events held in Florence, as its name suggests every two years.

The 2026 Biennale runs from 26 September to 4 October and is the 34th edition of an event that is an absolute reference for great Italian art.

‘A museum for sale’ is how the Secretary General of the Biennale, Fabrizio Moretti, described it: and indeed the 80 expected galleries, each with a long and honourable career, bring unknown works of art to the banks of the Arno, creating an exhibition of the highest level.
The study, research and expertise of the exhibitors, both new and long-standing, is guaranteed; remember that their clients, in addition to private collectors, are museums all over the world.
Among the artists on display in the rooms of Palazzo Corsini are works by Bronzino, Tiziano Vecellio, Giovanna Garzoni, Andrea Appiani, Vittorio Corcos, Umberto Boccioni, Antonietta Raphael and Alberto Savinio.

The exhibition is complemented by many events, with glamorous guests: gala dinners, musical performances for charity, and art-themed conferences, which take place both at Palazzo Corsini and in the city's various museums.

Finally, let us remember that the Biennial takes place in a place of exceptional beauty, the Palazzo Corsini on the Arno normally closed to the public, a rare example of a Baroque building in the city of Florence.

The detailed programme of the Biennial can be found on the website.
