On Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October 2026, Montaione will host the 33rd edition of the Truffle Fair and Market, the autumn festival celebrating the king of the table: the prized white truffle, which thrives in its natural habitat in the Montaione area. It is an explosion of flavours and expertise, showcasing the very best of the region’s food and wine: alongside the white truffle, there will be Chianti wine, cheeses, as well as extra virgin olive oil, saffron, cured meats, honey and jams.
This year, Tartufesta kicks off as early as Saturday morning, for a whole weekend dedicated to flavour, local specialities and the atmosphere of Montaione. Awaiting you will be producers and markets, truffle-based dishes, cooking demonstrations, excursions and a host of events designed to let you experience the village throughout the weekend.
