Clone di Florence Short Film Festival 2026

The Florence Short Film Festival, an international short film festival, will take place at Cinema La Compagnia from February 5th to 7th, 2026, featuring 21 short films in competition and numerous premieres from all over the world.

Every year, hundreds of filmmakers from across the globe submit their works to be selected and compete in the three categories Fiction, Animation, and Documentary, for both the Jury Prize and the Audience Award.

Starting from last year’s edition, the festival has also introduced the Fabrizio Borghini Special Prize, awarded to the short film that succeeds in reviving the historical or artistic memory of a place or a period, or that promotes messages of justice, equality, and freedom.
For the occasion, Florentine artist SKIM — known for his pop and ironic style blending graffiti, painting, and illustration — will create an original artwork dedicated to the winning film.
